He was master of the whist,
Wining every game with suave and tricks,
Until the time,
When he saw her shadow,
displaying grace,
From behind the long curtains,
Drawn on the farthest corner of the hall,
And before he could gasp,
She snapped his remaining peace,
With her ingenious smile,
Joining them with a curious pair of eyes,
And from there on,
He lost every bet of whist to her,
So that he can win her heart.
