Social Charade

The awkward silence
of unspoken words,
The trembling agog
of unmet love,
The trundled desires
jutting out in vain,
The bellowing eyes
hiding in the shadows of the rain.

But despite such imperfect setup
they smiled through their pain,
The social charade
of disgruntled minds,
Difficult to fathom
impossible to define.

  1. “The social charade of disgruntled minds”.. could be a whole book its self! Your poetry has been really interesting to read, and beautifully and clearly understood.

  2. Thank you dear poet! Vanished, I tend to do that.vanishing keeps my head on straight! But I always find my way back. I have been reading your poetry .. you are one of my favorite poets!
