The awkward silence
of unspoken words,
The trembling agog
of unmet love,
The trundled desires
jutting out in vain,
The bellowing eyes
hiding in the shadows of the rain.
But despite such imperfect setup
they smiled through their pain,
The social charade
of disgruntled minds,
Difficult to fathom
impossible to define.
