She thought he was gone,
dissolved in some blurry horizon,
never to return
She labeled it as fate,
accepted his absence
even before her eyes could blink,
and that heart
raised a slight shrug,
and she moved on with her life
She put layers after layers
of thoughts,
renewed love,
fleeting desires,
and charming promises,
all over her bruised heart,
and she assumed such diminutive hope
would be buried without much ado
But he was never gone,
for her mind got engaged in new covets, making him dissolve in oblivion,
but he stood there braiding time
waiting for the dust to settle,
patiently but surely
And then one fine day
when she was flipping through
her past yearn,
she saw him,
never disappearing,
questioning every one of her belief,
and each one of her credence,
and from there on
her life was never the same

Once you love someone, you can never stop.
You got the essence so right, adithya ๐ thanks for commenting
You don’t need to thank me for commenting on your work. I just does that because the author needs to know that he or she produced a good piece of work. And the other thing is it is actually me who benefited from reading your work don’t you think.
This is your generousness, but I have to express my gratitude as well. Thanks for your wise thought and I am glad you liked it
Surely a lost-love is always awaited, but thank the luck and God if a flirt has just stepped out of your life before you could know his truth and kick him off…๐๐
