2. It was not a thought but a situation the protagonist had. This is an excerpt from a work of fiction I am writing.
   Now coming to your question, it totally depends on the situation. My opinion, you can give many chances to the other person, but if you are insignificant to him or her then shouldn’t it is better not to be together? My thoughts again.
