No matter what came her way,
it didn’t matter
whether her trust was broken
or she was left betrayed
Even when her days
were clouded with fears from the dark,
and nights
lurking with demons’ sinful smirks
And when the ground she stood
collapsed into a hole,
and people she assumed friends
proved not her own
Despite the mayhem, she went through,
she bounced back rejoinder and renewed,
sure she had fallen many times around, bruised ego, broken dreams
but she never left her ground,
and she never took her eyes off her goal,
she surged ahead
with hopes kindled deeply in her soul
