His Sophistry

He weaved his guile in sugar coated words,
cajoled her with his skillful deceive,
and when she came into his false ensemble,
he deluded her grails with his sophistry,
now she had left him for good,
but the shards of his deceit
was forever engraved on her heart,
a poignant reminder,
that still rattled her for her naive belief

    She fell for those eyes
    Not for the sugar coated words.
    His eyes mirrored a different tale ..
    He was deceiving his emotions for her.
    The guile she could see
    But didn’t utter…as she knew
    The deceit was for her to go and
    Not for what he had for her.
