When They Met

There was an unknown vibe
Complex and impossible to decipher
unannounced it tiptoed into their life
like a strong attraction deviant but divine

And despite the cacophony that ruled their world
there was melody
as if an ensemble was on roll
and the oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon
all played in symphony
beaconing some aberrant song

Away from any licentious ogle
and void of any ribaldry words
they spoke with humor
and the hilarity often hit the chords

In life sometimes you meet people in serendipity
and when you do
don’t waste time reasoning or questioning
just welcome them in your life
with all your heart
spreading some beguile smile

  1. This is beautifully written.and Yes an important lesson not to waste time when you met beautiful souls in life.
    Lovely message well penned, Shantanu.

  2. Simple and yet meaningful. I take it this way, most people come in our life with some purpose, and in most cases we never know what that was. But it is on us to welcome them with a smile, and keep them or bid them adieu when the person needs to go.
