Hope In Adversity

read my son’s take on hope and adversity.

Denken

The recalcitrant volcano
Wouldn’t stop exploding
It had grandiose plans of destruction
As some strong winds were blowing

The humongous lava-filled landform
Was a tantamount to an evil creature
People were screaming and worried
About their small town’s future

The Volcano did not have a saccharine smell
Like a fruit, that may be delicious
Lava gushed down the rough sides of it
It was definitely very capricious

Despite all the commotion
All the townspeople were sympathetic
No matter what may happen to them
They will have hope, viewed from their own perspective

  1. This was well written. I love how you’re supporting him and it’s nice how he’s in such good hands. He’s writing amazing pieces.
