Speak to Us- A collaboration with Megha

This is my second collaboration. Both happened in a span of two days. I have always admired Megha’s work. You give her a topic and she will create a magical spell. Love, social cause, pain, life lessons  – you name it she will draw a jaw-dropping eye teasing view. If you haven’t checked her blog please do – you won’t regret – Megha’s Blog

Megha

The faint whispers
of the tantalizing breeze
leaves those fleeing touches
on my skin
leaving those love notes
here and there
those love syllables
quietly sinking in,
as if he speaks to me

Shantanu

And when I look at her
her eyes bellowing storm
like a rage with a purpose
like a gale with a desire
surging ahead
screaming in silence
as if she speaks to me

Megha

The fleeting touch of those
those waves crashing on the
shore and those
quaint nibbling of my puny toes
when the sun dips
his love into the sea,
as if he speaks to me

Shantanu

And her touch
as if bringing together
the fire of million bolt at once
crashing down with urge
making a thunderous call
as if she speaks to me

Megha

The warm cozy aura
of the fire
seeping,
slowly and surely in me
wrapping around the warmth
with every passing minute
of the that teasing moment
in the cold winter evenings,
as if he speaks to me

Shantanu

And her deviant thoughts
entwined in the cerebral
of labyrinth nerves
deep and abstruse
calling loud yet never heard
as if she speaks to me

Megha

Those dewdrops gently resting
on the petals
witnessing the love of the mortals
carrying the fragrance of the night
and turning into a pure elixir,
as if he speaks to me

Shantanu

And her petite smile
like thousand diamonds
sparkling bright
radiating and oozing
her magnum light
alluring and sensuous
as if she speaks to me

Megha

Those azure shades
stroking the breast of the sky
an honest declaration of the
soulful love
that we hide
paints our love story
oh! so sublime,
as if he speaks to me

Shantanu

And her long brown tresses
as if spreading a mystical spell
like some hazy occult
real or imaginary
I am unsure
love or a symphony
I think I may have heard
As if she speaks to me

  1. Oooh! I have been wanting for you and Megha to collaborate since so long, your writing are so similar in a way. Both brilliant writers and it fills my heart to see this beautiful collaboration. It’s just awesome. Both compliment each other so well here. Brilliant♥️

  2. Bravo to you both!! You are so right about Megha! She has a magical way with words as do you, My Friend!
This was a delightful read. Really love the line – “And her deviant thoughts” and “love or a symphony
I think I may have heard
As if she speaks to me”

    Wonderful love poem!!!

  3. What a beautiful mixture of love and romance, I love this collaboration you two wonderful poets put together. One of touch, the other of sound. “Leaving those love notes here and there, those love syllables quietly sinking in” a wonderful symbolism of his magic touch. “Like a gale with desire surging ahead screaming in silence”, such a powerful line, the sound of her voice alone. A wonderful flow that continued to blend until a perfect poem was created. Beautiful work.🌹🌹
