Raise Your Voice

Raise your voice the most
when it is timid
and afraid of
losing its sheen in the shroud
of some distant dreams

Raise your voice the loudest
when it is unheard
and is lost in the clamor of thousand noise
mostly ridiculed and rebuffed

Raise your voice like a roar
when you are left alone
in the darkest of tunnel
and the forces defying your spirits
making your heart to regress and denounce

The world may not agree,
people may detest you
you may be abhorred, ridiculed or let down
but despite such atrocities
raise your voice
for when you believe in your action
sooner or later
your voice will be heard
it won’t go in vain

  4. To have a voice, you can’t care what others think because opinions are what often silence us in the first place. Very motivational, oppose the oppressors.
