Our Aberrant Love

You can weigh in the facts,
assimilate what your eyes can comprehend,
and write me off as someone who has been already taken

You can disregard the yore that you undeniably see in abundance,
the silky thoughts that vehemently flows breaking all gorge
and deny the vicious attraction that is spilled in every one of our unspoken verses

You can detest the world,
descry from the confrontations
disregard the words

You can refuse to believe our existence,
tear off every one of the letters that we wrote in blithe and glee
shut the door on me showing your pretentious charade

You can get yourself busy with your bearings
adopt a hobby to distract your mind
make your heart believe the so-called presumed ostensible life

You can do all such things and more,
but how will run away from my love that is engrained in your soul

  31. I relate so well. Love is always a little unplanned. I never in a million years would’ve thought I’d fall in love with who I’m in love with now and I was scared. But in the end, I embraced it and it was the best thing ever to happen to me.
