Two souls met with glee
moments in blithe
emotions in a spree
A harmonious union
a bonding with no decree
they shared life experiences
smiles in abundance
hearts were set to free
The little confab that brewed innocuously
they enjoyed with a charm
letters written with enthusiasm
a fire got ignited
without meaning any harm
But in some fateful trice
his affectionate words that meant no harm
were taken against him
and a spark of misunderstanding
crashed the momentary bliss
