Lemonade

Read my daughter Nitara’s poem on Lemonade 😊😊

Tenderquill

It’s sugary sweet
On a nice hot day
The ice is crunchy
Down by the bay

You slurp it down
In one big sip
And slowly
you would lick your lips

It’s tastes really sour
It’s cold and refreshing
It’s all over my mouth
You should’ve seen the look on my face!

  1. This is quite amazing, Shantanu! Nitara sure captured the essence of a good lemonade right ❀

Lemonades are awesome, which is why I serve literary versions of them πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

      1. Haha. It was just the sort of silly joke you can expect from a nocturnal writer πŸ˜€ I absolutely adore the childhood innocence in her simple words. She is going to be a great writer when she grows up πŸ™‚
