Lemonade

Read my daughter Nitaraโ€™s poem on Lemonade ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

Tenderquill

Itโ€™s sugary sweet
On a nice hot day
The ice is crunchy
Down by the bay

You slurp it down
In one big sip
And slowly
you would lick your lips

Itโ€™s tastes really sour
Itโ€™s cold and refreshing
Itโ€™sโ€‹ all over my mouth
You shouldโ€™ve seen the look on my face!

  1. This is quite amazing, Shantanu! Nitara sure captured the essence of a good lemonade right โค

Lemonades are awesome, which is why I serve literary versions of them ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Haha. It was just the sort of silly joke you can expect from a nocturnal writer ๐Ÿ˜€ I absolutely adore the childhood innocence in her simple words. She is going to be a great writer when she grows up ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. That’s a beautiful name, what does it mean? Also you’re the luckiest dad to have such talented writers as kids. I can imagine how proud you must be. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  4. Attagirl..!!! Due to lack of time, I saw and liked the post yesterday, but could read and comment today.. sorry for that.. ๐Ÿ˜
