I Want a Closure

I want a closure
an answer to bring
my delirious heart to rest
from the numerous tribulations
and the constant hammering
from those monotonous hums
that keeps me awake at night

I want to bring ease
to my unrest soul
from the burden, I am carrying
for all this while
unsure why she left
without announcing a word
leaving me stranded
and frozen in the past yore

I want to move forward
but only after I get answers
to the silent ringing
that I feel on my mind
like some lurking shadows
in a ghostly night

For I want to rest
such questions forever
and break the besiege
liberating my heart

  1. One incredible poem telling of severe heart break !! I guess we all have gone through such horrendous heart pain from a break up. I can name a few times. Great writing once again Shantanu !!

  2. Some questions just don’t have any answers and that kills us from the inside. I loved this.

  3. Welcome. I hope London is enjoyable. Let us know what you think of it. Good or bad lol.

  4. This is one of your best, although everything your write is stunning.

And I have to come to realize that some exits have no closure.

  5. It’s really nice! Short and effective writing ! Looking forward to reading more of your writing
