Fooled Again

With an anxious heart
and a dreadful mind
she tiptoed into his life,
but this time she had
a guard up her chest
and a veil on her face,
this time she was pragmatic,
not giving her miscreant heart
any chance to sway
like before,
when it pulled her into miseries,
naive she was,
for feeling could never be boxed or chained
and she got fooled again

    Excellent as always

  2. Stupid her!! And we get fooled again!

I see pictures from London. I do hope you are having a gala time there.

  3. That’s so true…heart hangs itself where ever it finds happiness but at times is been fooled cus the expectations are so high and reality seems almost zero.

  4. I do. Or do you think he does? The woman will more often say, β€˜I love you’ before he does. That’s why she should hold back and wait for him to say it first.

  5. Yes! My grandmother once told me long ago, β€˜allow the man to tell you he loves you first – he is a tougher being than women.’ Maybe women by nature are far more sensitive than men, in my opinion. πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ˜Š
