  1. Good aphorism! Thanks for sharing that.

    Knowledge of the past is useful when in need of performing certain kinds of tasks such as driving, balancing a checkbook, or operating a business. It is a burden when it comes to many other things, such as loving. Fear is an enemy of love, and our knowledge of failed or hurtful past relationships can intrude on us to kill our current ability to love. At least that’s how I see it.
