Never to Lose his Heart Again

And then during one such ordinary day
his eyes met her deviant stature,
her lips were smeared crimson red,
visage painted with layers of makeup,
her eyelashes dripping liners
and the kohl in her eyes
complimented her delirious smirk,
intoxicated, her steps were weary
and her transparent silhouette
giving away more than anyone desired
from the far corner of his eyes
he was searching for her old soul,
which she had lost in some faraway place
detached from his sight
she walked past him
and at the moment he again lost his heart
one he thought he will never lose
again on a girl like her
