Handling Uncomfortable Question

If you are uncomfortable answering a question imposed on you, instead of fumbling to find an appropriate answer ask back a simple question – “why did you ask?”

I have tried this trick, and 9 out of the 10 times I was able to escape without answering, for the person who puts you on spot usually gets uncomfortable answering the REAL intent behind his inquisitive query 😊

Do you agree?

  1. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜› true that..
And I remember someone used this trick with me.. my reaction to them was..
“Answer for a question should always be an answer ! And not a question πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚πŸ™Š
    Nice one bro

  2. I mostly change the subject. I tried asking them why do you ask? But they always makes something up and try and make me answer. So I change the subject and it works.

  3. Haha! I should try that! Ugh! I always feel a sense of obligation when people ask a question. Especially when it comes to my kids, they’ll ask, β€˜why do you have so many kids?’ Should I make them feel uncomfortable and just say, β€˜cause I like having s?x with my husband.’ πŸ˜‚ Don’t ask, you may not be ready for my truth!

  4. That’s true! But then, there are some serious kinda crazy people who have answers to every question.. and they won’t leave that golden opportunity of keeping you on the spot!
