Dear Phoenix

I landed in Phoenix yesterday close to 10 PM. I had a late night dinner.🥘 I try avoiding before bed meals but yesterday I couldn’t resist the temptation of having shrimp over Jasmine rice.

When I woke up, I raised my room curtain, and this is what I saw

The gorgeous Phoenix Mountain range. You can see the arid lands of the Sonoran desert 🌵 and vegetation fewer hills. If you don’t know Phoenix gets less than 3 inches of rain in a year. Compare this to 15 – 25 inches of rainfall we get in NJ. In fact, it was pouring cats and dogs in NJ yesterday.

By the time I was done with the Gym the temperature soared close to 100 degrees. NJ is getting cold and I took this as a welcome change. I have a red-eye flight home and I am at the airport Lounge for the past 4 hours waiting to fly. Another 5 hours before I hop on to my flight.

Life is interesting. How is your week going?

  1. Amazing scene. Glad that you had an interesting week. Here, the schedule is monotonous… Classes and studies (and reading novels and blogging between them 🙃) Have a good time, Shantanu

  2. Lovely photographs..what a view..Amazing!! Good to know you enjoyed your trip.
Week was not good for me. I was down with cold and fever, now I am fine.
