My 1st day in October started with travel. I just landed in LA. I planned to read my unfinished book, write some poetry and get a short nap. Well, I did none.
So, apparently, I flipped the entertainment channel and my attention was caught by a Hindi title I have never heard before. The movie 🎥 name was “Qaidi Band”. The poster was dark, and the name wasn’t appealing yet there was something that pulled me into it.
But I am so glad I succumbed to my weird temptation. It was such a beautiful watch. The movie is about 7 under trial convicts who served more than their jail term because of denied justice. While caught in the grind of an unfortunate life they found music 🎶, which became their savior and resurrection.
The movie was well paced and brought a sense of hope and a purpose in an otherwise dithered setup.
I am in LA until Thursday. A busy week ahead. How is your week planned?
