She lived an ostensible life,
for her smiles,
her thoughts,
her dreams,
her world
appeared to be with him
yet it thrived without him

  1. Appearances can be fooling. People appear able when unable and appear unable when able. I liked the poem but I have a differently evoked memory and different perspective , experience. But my compliments on wonderful thoughts provoking poetry. Regards Jay
