Then I Know

When I am derailed,
crushed in a derided fallout
when a sudden outburst
engulfs me in complete vacuum, challenging my human existence

When I am caught in the grip of aridity, void of hope
and with the feel of hell
And when despite such atrocities
and harshness
the hope survives
then I know I am in love
