You said
we were meant forever
embracing love
where skies met the ocean
united in the periphery
of some distant star
You said
our love would thrive
the stormiest of the nights,
and could face any gale
and would hold its deviant face
to any scary plight
You said
moon comes out in the night for us
basking our souls in its moonlit
forever till eternity
And then you left me
without much reasoning
or with any sane advice
you thought
I would be ruined
but wait, for I have a surprise
for I still live in that forever universe
but with my newfound happiness
and an aberrant pride

So forever may not be a myth for we can find forever in other things like strength, happiness and moving on. No endings, only new beginnings. Wonderful words my friend!πΉπΉ
Beautiful imagery. You never let your readers down.βΊ
Resonates. The promises of eternal love that extends to eternity, but then without any valid reason it just withers. But indeed even if others treat it as a myth we can always go on beleving in it.
Beautiful and Enchanting piece. πΌπΈβ¨
Forever is a myth told by soul π…it was a good readπ…
Yea…. Exactly. Because even he he/she left, Happiness can still be found, dwelling in that forever
Lovely piece, Shantanu πππ I love this
I too believe forever is a myth. But, every ending leads to a new start so that balances all. Anyways, this was a nice read.
Myth! ,yah indeed. But I am hoping it does bring new and amazing starts.

Ahh, Yes, it seems we all have a weakness for the “Happily Ever After” and suffer extreme heartache upon the fallacy/lie being revealed! Loved the strength and acceptance in your ending!! Brilliant!
