My mind, Confetti

My mind
confetti of emotions
and a mesh of aberrant thoughts,
I seldom dare to explore those labyrinthine paths
for I always assumed
it will exploit the soft crust
that shields my naive heart

But one day
much against the wish of my rational mind
I dared to peek into my unchartered world
while I dreaded and feared
scared and teared
I met with much beautiful rem
for I bore that day a deviant pair of eyes
to look beyond the blames,
to see beyond the names
and I found all memories had a story to tell,
some to cherish,
a few to learn from
and many to bring smiles on a gloomy day
