The callous barriers,
the ruthless ravines,
the unattainable peaks,
that life dangling from a frail vine,
life often put us
on such precarious path
when the shine and glow of our visage
often turned into
some fearful whitish shades,
when the gray pewter skies
clouds every hope,
dwarfs each one of our tries,
we are often left in dismay
to tend a battered heart
and in such a moment of despair
often we break into pieces,
unable to bear the pain,
leaving hope,
tamed to the situation,
surrendering to fate
but there are few deviant hearts
who stand back every time they fall,
hold the brandishing scare by the horn
and their relentless fervor
defies all ostensible truth
and those are the souls
who leave behind a legacy
for others to cherish
and for scattered hopes to regroup
