Why Bother?

You complain about your heart break
and now you think you’re shattered to pieces,
and the house you aspired to build,
but never conjure enough money to bring to bear
You nurture grudge,
keep anger close to your chest,
grow animosity,
become greedy,
you want to acquire wealth more than you can keep,
without realizing,
we are all are made of speck of dust
floating in a tiny celestial body
in a vast universe,
and all it will take is a meteor
to dissolve us all to oblivion

  1. Deeply philosophical and gorgeous imagery. Love the “speck of dust
floating in a tiny celestial body”. And the last two lines are very powerful.
