She, a blithe soul,
grace draped her visage
and the environs she belonged to
also had remolded
with crimson hue

the world was in awe
for they couldn’t fathom
how someone who grew in a ghetto,
living in a dilapidated shanty
could live life in such mirth
little did they know
locale didn’t shape her
but she was the reason behind
the transformed milieu
