Her emotions were rising to the brim
almost to a point of choking her,
eyes despair
as if lost in a listless wandering,
heart banging with a pang
every now and then
and she broke down to pieces
shattered and bereaved
and right when she was slipping into oblivion
he appeared
building a weir one brick at a time
the barrage of wailing still existed
but it flowed away with ease
and he could finally see
her wide blue eyes
smiling through the tears of hope
