Quiet Love


He cares for her,
and he loves her to bits,
but didn’t have the courage to show.

In his most uncanny way
he stands stiff,
and for reasons best known to him,
he wouldn’t speak.

He never misses any chance
to catch her fleeting glance,
on occasions when she appears unceremoniously
without the announce.

And though he yearns
to embrace her into his fold,
but despite the strong urge
he refrains any emotions to show.

The elation that surges seeing her,
often dwindle,
lost in his unprecedented stance.

He remains unpretentious
and annoyingly callous,
for he can’t come to terms,
of his inability to take any chance

Every time she sees him
in the corner of that street,
his perplex stature
is hard not to notice,
fluster face,
nervous smile,
stealing glances in a momentary trice,
every move he presumes
though suggest his yearning for her,
