You leave me strangled
in the midst of insanity,
somewhere between the love
and the pang of despair,
like the shades of crimson hue
mixed with the pewter in the evenfall
you leave me in between
deserting me to fall into an oblivion trap
Yet holding the tip of my dwindled hope
mind clouded in some gloom
I killed your thoughts many times
only to find you at a distance
smiling like a mirage
and now I know
you will always stay close troubling me
like an illusion
of some yesteryear’s yore
