Will She Survive

The screams on “don’t do” cease to exist

The quietness she longed for was in abundance

The frequent unannounced clamors that troubled her the most had magically disappeared

The house was too clean for her to recognize

The tranquility she longed for all this time was finally arrived

But the clamor inside her mind still survived

And no matter how much she tried it failed to recede

  1. Wonderfully penned…💗 I almost feel Iike I was reading about myself. I use to joke around with people, “Try living inside this head of mine, you wouldn’t survive a minute.” Naturally, this was before I was diagnosed with mental health issues.
I’ve never said that ever again.
