From a distance, one can see her diminutive stature,
gushing forward with determination,
a mark of a defiant soul
and despite her petite forbearance
she drapes in some vibrant turquoise shades
surge forward with hope in eyes
and confidence in her smiles
and all the biases the world presume is demolish
for she was a gushing stream no to be tamed
