Assiduous – A Flash Fiction

It was a morning of annoyance, gray clouds loomed over the horizon and the unruly breeze was blowing cold sheets of winter sparing none. He detested to step out of his dwelling but the urge of meeting her put all apprehensions to rest. And the arduous travel was worth it, for her assiduous loving touch was enough to make the annoyance fade away.  The grayness became pewter shades of desire, the rain morphed to showers of blithe, and despite the chaos, they swelled and glowed smiling in love.
