Whimsical – A Poem

His fedora tilted to an angle covering his visage
and his eyes hanging from the lorgnette
blurring in the shades of his miscreant vice
the visceral feelings held closely to the frail smile,
the words skeet rapidly without making much sense

He tried his whimsical wit but then to no avail
such was the aura she draped him with
whenever she appeared unannounced
in the thoughts of his deviant mind
