Nosegay – A Flash Fiction

A loner I was, and a peripatetic soul, never rested at one place, in search of something that my heart never conjured. From crowded streets to desolate places, I traversed all without much respite, for an unruly restlessness crowded my mind. And in search of nothingness, I became a vagabond. Then one day as the fragrance of some nosegay wrapped around the waist of a damsel drove me wild. And I followed her along, behind the boulders, across the mountains and in the bed of the ocean,  it was peace at last.

  1. This is absolutely lovely, so beautifully penned. The dynamics of vivid imagery is captivating. The essential aromatherapy of the Nosegay on her wrist how sounds intoxicating.
