Walking down the old town cobbled street
I felt as if I got transported to some mystic time
the rustic tall iron structure
holding the lamps
oozing a baroque sense
and the gargoyles
displaying an era of Byzantine charm
and as I sauntered forward
in a haphazard way
the aura spelled out a fragrance
from the gothic times
a sense of love beaconed and
an uncalled nostalgic feel
arrested my soul
though I never belonged to that time
or maybe it was a premonition
a resurrection of time forgotten yonder yore
