I Celebrate You

I celebrate you in every form and shape
I cherish the littlest of time
I ever spend in the fold of your thoughts

And while you are busy
indulging in your life’s beautiful fulcrum
often ignoring my presence
It didn’t perturb me
for my muse is only you

I take whatever comes my way
and I patiently dot on your return
with a smiling heart
and when once in a blue moon
you shower few thoughts about us
I treasure them for a lifetime
often in my lone time I nurture
all our reminiscences
your thoughts warming my world
making me wait for many lifetimes
and I know a single moment again
will be enough
to get me going for many eons to come

  1. Awesome poem, Shantanu!! I really love poems about writing poems and especially about one’s relationship with “My Muse”! Sometimes it feels like we get Marooned and alone until she returns and turns a desert into an Oasis!! Bellissimo!!! 💖💖✨👍😁
