No, you don’t bother me anymore,
Neither your miscreant thoughts
crowd my mind
like how it used to do before,
The bad taste in my mouth
that often used to leave me asphyxiated,
that brine didn’t bother me this time,
For the love you once called your own
was nothing but a passing thought
without fragrance, color or face
And how long can such superficial feel
hold you, hostage, for a lifetime
