Craning her neck from time to time,
standing on her toes with an anxious pair of eyes,
her heart searched for something
that she couldn’t decipher for a lifetime,
And it appeared she was yearning for eons,
parched vision fought numerous wars
trying hard to save the flame,
that was gradually diminishing with time,
The clouds were thick, and winds were strong,
a storm was brewing within her,
but whenever inside her crowded mind his smile semblance,
the fear dissolves and faith triumphs,
It was a battle every moment,
a tireless fight,
which she was certain she would tame
for the faith, she rekindled that always stood by her side
