Memory lanes

And I saw a face,
bright and charming
and an urge engulfed my mind,

and no matter how much I tried to ignore
she consumed my thoughts,
beaconing me to believe
that there exists some connection
from my days at yore,

for no matter where I went,
what I did,
her vivid smile possessed my being,

and I reckon
either she is an enigmatic charm
or a shadow at yonder,
a contour from the memory lanes of my broken heart
Loving Her Soul

  1. Such a beautiful poem my friend. Looks like you are in love potion. So well put together. 🌸✌

  2. This is such a beautiful piece of imagination💕🌺.
At times, it happens that we feel so much connected to someone, that even their absence makes us feel their presence in the form of inevitable thoughts.
Their physical presence is not required for us to remember them.
