Nature’s Marvel

The hazy morning mist
spreading sheets of gelid air
on the unruly wilds
like a shroud embracing in its arms
the blithe of the creepers
and the innocence of some fluttering leaves
the dew rolled on the bracts

the sun glittered on the fronds
a mesmerizing consonance
an ensemble in divine
and I stood there
drenched in the heavenly spill
lost in the nature’s marvel
agape with disbelieve

Aura Of Your Love

The love you infuse
in each one of your deed towards me
makes my blasé soul
transcend to some euphoric blithe

And all the subdued notions
and untoward apprehensions,
I nurtured for long
has miraculously fled into oblivion
such is the aura of your love
and the mercy of the lord

Detest Fear

Well written Shaurya. Keep the pen on fire.

Denken

You may abhor or abominate the abstruse situations in life, but hard work and hope are the only tools that help alleviate the pain. Procrastinating it to a later time just makes the problem aggrandize.

When They Met

There was an unknown vibe
Complex and impossible to decipher
unannounced it tiptoed into their life
like a strong attraction deviant but divine

And despite the cacophony that ruled their world
there was melody
as if an ensemble was on roll
and the oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon
all played in symphony
beaconing some aberrant song

Away from any licentious ogle
and void of any ribaldry words
they spoke with humor
and the hilarity often hit the chords

In life sometimes you meet people in serendipity
and when you do
don’t waste time reasoning or questioning
just welcome them in your life
with all your heart
spreading some beguile smile

I will not let you sleep

And for Humor…

When it comes to services industry nothing can beat south-east Asia. People there take services delivery experience to a complete different level. As grandeur as t may sound sometimes it becomes a cause of annoyance.

You don’t agree? 😊 Let me narrate an incidence to prove my point.😊

When I travel to India I always enter India through Delhi. This is regardless of my final destination.

During one such trip, I followed my usual routine. I landed in Delhi at around 10:00 PM. By the time I reached my brother’s home, it was almost midnight. We had a lot to catch up and before I realized it was time for me to go back to the airport, for I had an early morning flight to Chennai.

Though I sleep badly on plane, this time I forced myself to get some rest, for I was going to the office directly from the airport. Tiredness coupled with the looming day in front succeeded in putting me into a deep slumber.

An hour into the flight I felt a gentle nudge but it didn’t succeed to break my repose. The gentle nudge was followed by a deviant push. I woke up in shock only to find a smiling petite air hostess questioning, “what would you like to have sir. Veg or nonveg?”

though I was frustrated I avoided to give any curt response. Instead I forced a smile and politely mentioned I would prefer to sleep.

I struggled for some time but somehow got back into sleep mode again. I was woken again. This time by a flight attendant quizzing me why I am not eating. I smiled and said, “like the seat belt indicator, you should also have a do not disturb button.”

He failed to get my sarcasm and responded back stating he will get me a suggestion form. 😂

In the US, if you are asleep on a plane, no one will wake you. In India I felt my mother was traveling with me, concerned about my lost appetite.🤗👨‍🍳

Regardless of my not so pleasant experience, no one can beat the South Asian travel industry service quotient. I would still happily give them 10/10.

What You Made Me Do

Ckonfab

You rattled the hornet’s nest,
And all those long restrained emotions,
gushing out,
Surging ahead,
In an unstoppable way.

And now you appeared scared,
Want to escape the deluge,
That came your way,
And now unsure,
Gasping what to do,
You broke his faith,
This time too.

Were you not aware of the aftermath?
Or were you teasing him with your another dark side.

But this time around you got it wrong,
For you would be consumed in the storm,
There would be no escape,
You would be wrapped in the same darkness,
The one in which he was draped.

The Sunshine Blogger Award

I always drag my feet whenever I am recommended by someone to participate in awards. I am not an award person as I like to write what my mind says. Defined questions cage me and I detest any type of constraints 😂

So far I have responded to two Quote challenges one from Richa and other from Atifa, for they provided me the freedom to write my own quotes 😛

I may have unknowingly hurt many fellow bloggers because of my callous approach. I want to first apologize to all those who have recommended me and I didn’t bother to acknowledge or respond. They say it is never too late to correct one’s mistake. So, here I am with my first response to an award. I will try my best to honor everything that will come my way.

This is my first Sunshine blogger award. Thanks to the ispeakloudthoughts for recommending me.  If you have not checked out her blog, please do, for she writes some amazing life lessons, deviant thoughts, and mesmerizing words.

So here it goes dear fellas 😎

For any miracle to happen you have to first believe in the unbelievable

  • Do you believe in second chances

Absolutely, we should not be too harsh on people. But when life offers the second chance make sure you make it count.

  • A message to your younger self

I should have spent more times with my dad. I lost him when I was just 25. I still miss him so much.

Haunted House

Ckonfab

The dilapidatedcottage was seldom visited,
So was the path that led to the house,
The odd sound kept jingling from the anklet,
And people fear constantly roused.

From immemorial times people narrated the tale,
about voices howling with a prolonged wail,
And they said the house had some dreadful history,
But no one knew for sure about its mystery.

Locals didn’t dare to wander the path,
For the house was burdened with ghost’s wrath,
They claimed apparitions resided the place,
And it was scary enough for anyone to face.

So they kept away from the house,
The ruins of the place was only talked about,
The unruly bushes crowded the space,
despite all odds, the ghosts were nowhere to be traced.

Wish you all a happy spooky Halloween 😀

And Then You Smiled

And when you smile
through those doe shaped eyes,
and when those gentle crevices
forms on your sun kissed visage,
all my ostensible anger,
the long standing apprehensions,
and the tall fortified walls
I had built over time
dissolves in a trice
and I stand there profound and agape
drenched in your beauty
lost in your love
