Imponderables

He pulled his Stetson hat down to an angle and cravat up to his chin,
for he wanted to camouflage the visage and his fear laced exposed skin.

Fool he was in missing seeing those eyes with an aberrant spin,
that housed many imponderables and some dark sided yin.

Your Irresistable Sheen

The world was captivated in the nature’s caper,
Where the cloud danced in the shades of sun’s glare,
With the restless waves were crashing on the jutted rocks,
And the palm trees leaned towards the wind for some talk.

While everyone was awestruck with the nature’s glee,
I was lost to a different scene,
The beautiful setup tried hard to get my glance,
But I didn’t give it any surviving chance.

The reason was simple,
As it was supposed to be,
For you were standing next to me,
Dwarfing everything around in your irresistible sheen.

Parallel World

You are dazed,
The turmoil brewing inside is making you amaze,
Unsure of what to do,
You put a charade, but you hardly knew.

For you’re naive not to take his lead,
Departure from your obligations is not what he need,
He didn’t desire to rattle your world,
Neither he wants to capture you in a twisting swirl.

If you give him a second glance,
Your heart will leap like some galloping prance,
All he want is to cherish your soothing chime,
Living in a parallel world, existing at a different time.

The Glare of Your Soothing Eyes

If you are reading my posts, by now you must have realized how much I love the moon. I see such a strong association of moon with everything around I can hardly stop writing. This is my 12th creation. If you have something to say drop your comment in the box below

Thank you for reading and commenting. Here goes the next one

Those few nights,
When the moon decides to hide,
In the canvas of the dark skies.

The only respite,
The world has,
Is the glare of your soothing eyes.

Resurrection

Every time when the world wrote you off,
circumvent you on a deserted trough,
And the moments when they wrestled you down,
and thought you dissolved to a point of no return.

You resurrected,
And proved them wrong,
Like a wounded tigress,
You came back more strong.

Not any different from the moon,
which slowly but surely bounces back,
from each and every lunar eclipse,
which tries, but fails to engulfs its face.

Confetti

I detested her presence,
And erased all her lingering essence,
Pushed away the reveries,
Shoved all the beautiful memories.

And after the ardent toil,
And battling with heart’s embroil,
I did a final search,
Doubting every possible lurch.

And to my dismay,
I found impressions of her name,
Casted on my mind like a permanent frame,
I tried hard to,
erase it all,
But when I failed,
I forced it to stall,
I wrapped my thoughts in a burning flame,
And from that moment,
things started to change.

Her shadow got dissolved,
And her image from my mind were finally absolved,
My mind was free from her humming sound,
And I was happy i found my newfound ground.

But when I was about to set free,
She appeared without any decree,
The wraps were gone,
The flames got doused,
Layer after layer,
She gently roused.

You could erase thoughts and assume victory,
But when the soul was consumed,
The heart would always be an open confetti.

Escaped

She was,
Slowly but surely,
One step at a time,
Crawling away,
From all miseries and pain,
And from the precarious thoughts,
That put her in some entwined chain.

And now that she had escaped the cage,
She lost the past rage,
Her focus was on her new abode,
one brick at a time, cultivating hope,
Though the path was rough,
And it was not her playing trough,
But it didn’t refrain her to aspire,
For she had her world, she had her desires.
