Defiant Souls

Divine souls are aberrant, for they sense beauty in most ordinary sight, which the world in general fail to see

Liberated self

My smile beamed with joy,
for it came from the mantle of my soul,

my worries vanished in a whiff,
for I realized nothing stays forever,

and the glow which is basking my existence today
remain a shade high,
for I stopped looking for happiness outside but looked within

Love Actually

The countless nova and the celestial bods
decorating the skies
with starlit sparkles

And then the moon standing tall
oozing its graceful shimmer
through its mesmerizing sheen

The humming chortle of the creek,
the silent rhythm of the lake,
the calmness that can lure anyone to its mystic fold,
all such exquisite sparks
couldn’t rattle my gaze away from you,

For my eyes remained fixated on you
and though at yonder
you dwarf all the shines
of million moonlit skies

Freedom

Have you ever experienced the freedom,
the time when the soul remains in a joyous spread,
and the heart sings in blithe
when the heart smiles inside
and the visage gently show the verve
when there is no fear,
no lies clouds any ostensible eyes,
that’s how I feel today,
for I am void of any expectations
neither I am dependent on any other person’s vibes

I am her Old Soul

When she smiles a tad different with her lower lips sliding to the right at an angle more than she usually does, I take notice

Or when she takes a little longer reading a page of a novel, like when the eyes don’t move but fix to a point and mind lost in oblivion, I take notice

Or when the tone of her voice oscillates a little, she projects nothing is wrong, but I know, for I take notice

Her glare, her stare, her guffaws, her talks, I read them all clearly like an open book for I am her old soul

Purpose

In relationships the heart always searches for a purpose, we may not know but it subconsciously looks for an unsaid impetus that makes the bond between two souls thrive. Sometimes the resolute tune to the exact frequency of the partner’s vibe and on some occasions it dances to a rhythm of its own. And such pulses which beat in an asynchronous manner, unleash and free are the ones which makes some old souls the finest amongst the otherwise mundane ones we often see, living in a relationship without much intrepid and zeal.

Rebound

The callous barriers,
the ruthless ravines,
the unattainable peaks,
that life dangling from a frail vine,

life often put us
on such precarious path
when the shine and glow of our visage
often turned into
some fearful whitish shades,
when the gray pewter skies
clouds every hope,
dwarfs each one of our tries,
we are often left in dismay
to tend a battered heart

and in such a moment of despair
often we break into pieces,
unable to bear the pain,
leaving hope,
tamed to the situation,
surrendering to fate

but there are few deviant hearts
who stand back every time they fall,
hold the brandishing scare by the horn
and their relentless fervor
defies all ostensible truth
and those are the souls
who leave behind a legacy
for others to cherish
and for scattered hopes to regroup

Her Smile

The spark of a million thunderstorms
the quietude of an untamed waterfall
the plummet of a feathery finch
the fragrance of some rustic quince
such is your smile
deviant from the world
captivating me in a frozen stall

An Abstruse Smile

She is not from this world,
or from the universe at large,
for her deviant soul
like some transient whiff
is there one moment
and in another, she disappears

Like a touch of brilliance,
or some hazy occult,
she leaves behind
traces of abstruseness
for the anxious souls
to remain bereaved and despair

And no matter what words,
or elixir draped proses,
or artistic rendition one displays,
she cannot be caged
in any poetic desires that one may wish

And for the few
who are fortunate to have her sight
she is never enough for the eyes
for before one can consume her aura
or open their heart to let her immerse
she disappears in such momentary trice
lost in the oblivion of some beguile disguise

But when she smiles
she leaves behind for eternity
her desirous stupor,
and spark of million thunderous bolt
in those hope-laden aberrant eyes

Window to Soul

I stared deep into the mirror
trying to read my soul through my eyes’ reflection,
unaware that the mirror was an illusion
and naive enough to understand
that soul was not to read
but to feel,
often with closed eyes
